AcademicEarth

Open course material is awesome! AcademicEarth (http://academicearth.org/) is a useful directory tool for finding and viewing entire courses and single lectures on a variety of subjects, given by professors at Ivy League and other prestigious universities.

Anyone can watch an entire semester-long class at schools like Yale or MIT, without spending tons of money (or for that matter getting dressed).

First Entry

So I finally succumbed to a random desire to have a blog. I don't know what I'll write about, but I figure it will probably be something themed in philosophy, chemistry, physics, math, political science, linguistics, or something like that. Maybe I'll compile a list of interesting articles/videos. Guess I'll see...

Current labels include: Academic, Philosophy, Math, Chemistry, Physics, Linguistics, Politics, News, and Cool Sites
